From the moment you connect with our residential treatment center in Huntington Beach CA, we’re already thinking about the total picture – detox, inpatient rehabilitation and aftercare.
We recognize that recovery is a long-term process that requires many different stages. We want you to focus on taking things one day at a time, but in the background, we’ll be preparing for the next transition.
Residential treatment starts you on the path to healing by helping you build a strong foundation. But we recognize that there is much more to the recovery process than this. Eventually, your goal will be to transition to everyday life, and we are here to help you with this from Day 1.
Aftercare is extremely important when it comes to setting up a life that protects you from drug and alcohol abuse. A good aftercare plan will be thorough, comprehensive and personalized to your unique needs. For example, are you returning to a home with a good support system, or do you need to build this support system in other ways?
Here are some elements that our clinical team may include in your aftercare plan:

Having a group of people who understand what you’re going through will be invaluable during these times. An Alumni community is also wonderful to celebrate with. Share your milestones and be proud of what you have accomplished! Know that we will always be cheering for you!
